Entwined

I tried to resist her, 

to refrain from giving in.

I know what we’re doing is wrong,

and she does too.

But the allure of the forbidden is so fucking sweet. 

Then she was ripped from me,

Four years I’ve spent waiting.

Biding my time.

Because once I find her, 

I’m never letting her go again.
