Wild Winter

Home is where I’m the safest.Away from people, the world, my awful mistakes.But I can’t hide forever.A broken part of my past comes to visit, and I’m forced to face it.The snow, a cruel enemy, makes sure I have nowhere to run.

My emotions are a mess. Confusing thoughts make things worse. There’s only so long I can keep all this pain bottled up inside of me.

Loneliness and desire dictate my next move.I’m probably ruining everything…again.There’s no escaping it this time.
